This is a perfect example of rationalization.
According to Merriam-Webster,

This article is based on some deep-seeded false paradigms!
First, women don’t have to work outside the home to have worth. This article suggests women give their time to their employers over their babies.
For centuries, women didn’t have to buy any of the things highlighted in this article. It is possible to feed your baby without them!
I worked full time and breastfed my three babies exclusively for 18 months. It was the opposite of stress for me. It was the highlight of my days- breastfeeding them and pumping for them.
Most women have the ability to breastfeed and choose not to. It is not easy for every woman or every kid. I get it. I had a really hard time with my first but I worked through it. I realize some women legitimately cannot breastfeed for various reasons but this is a small percentage and there are healthier options than standard formula. Most women just rationalize the reasons why they don’t. I also feel like some of the women who have issues stem from underlying health conditions due to poor lifestyle choices. But that is another discussion altogether.
Most formula is full of chemicals, sugars, additives, preservatives, sub-par proteins and fats that is NOT nutritious and all. Bill Gates is working on Biomilq to start feeding babies bioengineered “food”.
There is much more to breastfeeding than money. There is bonding, there is regulation of hormones, helping the uterus contract, lowers disease risk, lowers risk of depression, delivery of antibodies, and more…
God’s design was for women to breastfeed their babies so there is that also.
