Post 1 of 2: May School Board Meeting
This was my 2 minute (got booted after 2:00) school board public comment back in May regarding masks. I had 15 minutes to prepare because there were open speaking slots but I did it.
I share this to inspire you to do the same if you feel strongly on a subject.
Was it comfortable? NO! Was it necessary? YES!
Get involved, use your voice, and keep fighting. If you feel strongly about something, do something about it rather than just complain about it.
Believe me – those with opposing views are showing up to voice their concerns!
For now, masks are still optional in Cobb County Schools but that could change with the wind.
