Fall 2023 – New Covid Vaccine Approved by the FDA

Here we go again. There are things you need to know about the newest approved vaccines from the FDA. I spent several hours over the weekend researching to try to bring you the most updated information and things you need to put on your radar as we are entering the lion’s den (i.e. cold/flu/virus season) again this year. Here I try to make sense out of the newly FDA approved covid vaccine under an Emergency Use Authorization. It is not the same as the original, it is not bivalent as the most recent ones have been. Even thought the National State of Emergency has been lifted, vaccine manufacturers can continue to fast track vaccines without rigorous testing by using the Emergency Use Authorization. I cover the ins and outs and even goes through some of the ingredients.
