COVID Masking and Isolation – is it worth it?

I am honestly confused about so many things related to the virus, masking and shutdowns.

This may not be a popular post and I am not being judgmental, I am just looking at facts.

I know of a half dozen people who I can confirm have basically not left their house for a whole year, have not seen family/friends, have sanitized everything coming into their house, and have been diligent mask wearers who have ended up with covid.

I know countless more who have gone out but have been diligent with mask wearing and social distancing who have still “gotten” covid.

I also know hundreds of other people who I can confirm have done none of the above (like my husband and I) and have not ended up with covid.

•••Therefore, what would be the purpose of losing a year of your life to isolation, ritual and masking if the outcome is worse than if you had done nothing?•••

It has been shown over and over again that the states who have had the strictest measures enforced are no better off than those who haven’t.

It all seems to defy reason. Especially since the survival rate is 99%+ in the first place.

I still go back to saying that if people were even 1/4 as diligent about doing the things that help prevent heart disease, cancer and diabetes as they have been about covid, our country would be remarkably healthier!!!
